Important information for ENCON’s insured design professionals
Please note that ENCON’s Loss Control Program for insured design professionals is moving in a new direction. Our new Risk Management Program will provide a broader range of resources on a more regular basis. The program will include a series of risk advisories, which will be available in the coming months, and a webinar in late 2016 that will provide premium credits to insured attendees. As part of this initiative, we will not be holding our Loss Control Seminars this year or on a regular basis in the future.
We will continue to offer our eLearning courses for insured design professionals and brokers. Premium credits for insureds can be obtained by taking the two courses currently available: Managing Risk Through Written Contracts; and Risk Management Implications of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). For each completed course, your firm will receive a premium credit towards your ENCON professional liability premium, which will be processed within 30 days after the renewal date. For more information, or to access the eLearning Centre, please click here.*
* Please note that to access the eLearning Centre, ENCON insureds will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) as well as their firm’s Customer Number (also called ISN). To obtain a PIN, insureds should contact their broker or send an email with their name and firm name to firstname.lastname@example.org. Brokers will need a PIN as well and should contact their ENCON underwriter or send an email with their name and brokerage name to email@example.com.
Throughout 2016, ENCON will be exhibiting at trade shows and conventions across Canada. Please drop by our booth and meet us!
