As our society grows in complexity, so does the role of our legal professionals and the potential liabilities they face. ENCON’s Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance protects legal professionals against allegations of errors, omissions and negligent acts.

Coverage Details

  • Policy Form – The insurance is written on a claims-made basis
  • Policy Period – Annual and multi-year policies
  • Capacity – Limits up to $10,000,000 with many attractive deductible options (higher limits also available upon request)
  • Territory – Services rendered anywhere in the world, however, suits or judicial proceedings must first be brought against the insured in Canada (coverage for suits brought worldwide also available upon request)

  • Lawyers: Coverage applies directly in excess of provincial law society or the Professional Liability Insurance Fund of the Barreau du Québec
