The claims analyst is responsible for managing litigation and investigation of claims resolution on behalf of insurers. At ENCON, our claims analysts review and assess new claims, determine the coverage liability, the value of a claim and service provider fees, and take the appropriate action for resolution. As the main point of contact during the claims process, the claims analyst co-ordinates and controls the progress of files, including liaising with lawyers, adjusters, insurers, insureds and the internal underwriting departments.
In addition to claims management, ENCON’s claims analysts have the opportunity to prepare for and attend settlement conferences and mediations. They also prepare and deliver presentations to insureds and brokers, and work on policy wordings.
